How do I use CHARMS?
First, go to the CHARMS website, located at www.charmsoffice.com. This is also the first link in the "Quick Links" portion in the navbar at the left of the page. Then, enter in the school code into the Parent/student login area at the left of the page. Ours is westhillshs. A screenshot can be found below.
Once you are there, simply enter in your Student ID into the "enter password" field, hit enter and you'll have full access to the utilities available. Some of note are:
The School Calendar allows you to see pretty much any band event scheduled for months in advance. It's advisable to use this when planning, especially when scheduling working hours.
The Handouts section has pretty much all necessary paperwork, in addition to drill charts.
Finances shows you how much you owe the band for dues or other fees, (such as band camp or spring tour) if anything.
The Practice Record should be filled out every time you practice during the school year, as practice is required and is part of your grade.
